For the very first time last week, we held what we like to call the JolieApero*.
For those who are still wondering what a JolieApero is, here is more information…
The whole idea of the JolieApero is to prolong the beauty experience outside the box, by giving you a chance to meet our brand partners face-to-face and try all their products, whilst enjoying a delicious buffet and meeting other subscribers and expert beauty bloggers.
We had the pleasure to organize the first ever JolieApero with RMK, the n°1 Japanese brand we absolutely adore. After having presented the two RMK products from our previous boxes (The RMK Cleansing Oil was featured in our February JolieBox and the RMK Makeup Base was featured in our May JolieBox), we decided it was time for you to meet the people behind the brand.
We invited 15 lucky subscribers to enjoy a two-hour pampering session at the Selfridges RMK counter in Manchester. We were welcome by the lovely Claire and her team of talented Makeup Artists: Queena, Verna, Céleste and RMK International Senior Makeup Artist Ernesto Labero, who provided treats to the attendees (makeovers, skincare diagnoses, eyelash extensions) and shared all their beauty tips and tricks about how to make the most of RMK products. Champagne and a delicious Asian buffet were on the Menu throughout this very intimate evening.
Amongst the attendees, we were honoured to have two special guests : Beauty Experts and Bloggers Gemma from Gemsmaquillage and Nicola from Nicolavc86.
The highlight of the evening was when Gaynor won a ticket for two to go to the Royal Ascot Show this week! Well done Gaynor, we hope you had a lot of fun.
We want to thank RMK for this lovely evening (and for the goodie bags – we were spoiled!) as well as all the people who came. You can’t imagine how grateful we are to have met you in person and learnt more about you, your expectations and your daily beauty issues.
